The Fitness Industry’s Biggest Lie
Cardio as described by Google- As of or relating to the heart.
Cardiovascular fitness as defined by Wikipedia- Is the ability of the heart and lungs to supply oxygen-rich blood to the working muscle tissues and the ability of the muscles to use oxygen to produce energy for movement.
The fitness system markets facilities that have hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of “cardio” equipment and use this as a unique selling point. They do this because in order to keep their doors open they need members. To get members they jump on the train of cardio being the best workout for you that can burn fat and really change your life. This is a LIE.
To get results one must intentionally BUST it. Cardio is not the best source of results. Hard work is. All of these fitness magazine articles telling you to do heart rate workouts are lies. HIIT is the number one best way to train. It does not matter how. These methods are popular now because they get results and get them fast because they work.-CrossTraining

-PlyometricsThere are many ways to get results. Walking/talking/texting while working out is NOT one of them. Make sure to ask a doctor about your health status before jumping into a HIIT program. All workouts are going to change your health and life dramatically and if you want results you have to bust it. If you truly want results, don’t walk on a treadmill for an hour. If you want to do it for recreational purposes go for it! But if you want results and are walking and barely working up a sweat or your heart rate YOU ARE WASTING YOUR TIME.
